"My interest in the fiber arts started when a friend insisted I take a class in Arashi/ Shibori in 1986. That 4 hour class changed my natural methods of dyeing and led to my obsession in color, texture, and experimenting with new techniques. Partnering with Carolyn Marino broaden the horizon to design garments and blend our talents to create one of a kind wearable art. I like simplicity in the lines for the garments and the use of silk, rayon, and linen to suite the warmer climates of our area."
"Intertwined" this definition really fits our lives, the process, and our art. To twist two or more things closely together or around and through each other, or be or become twisted in this way to become closely and intricately linked with each other, or link something closely and intricately with something else.
