The AcA's Arts in Education program provides tools for educators and arts experiences for studentsand the community throughout the year. The AcA, along with the Louisiana Department of Education, believe that by giving young students the opportunity to learn about the arts and to make connections to language, math, science and social studies through the arts, that we can help them to develop their minds more fully and to experience the world more broadly.
A project of the AcA, Lafayette Parish School Board, University of Louisiana at Lafayette in collaboration with the Cecil J. Picard Center for Child Development and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
