With large scale exhibits in the 7,200 sq ft Main Gallery on a 2-3 month rotation, monthly shows in the sophisticated Side Gallery and - through our partnership with Louisiana Crafts Guild - an ever rotating schedule in the intimate space that is the Vault, we are able to constantly present Acadiana with fresh concepts, showcasing challenging and often cutting edge work from around the nation as well as regional and local artists to help us to both reflect on the world and define ourselves as citizens of this area.

Louise Guidry September 11 - October 1,
2010
A St. Martinville, Louisiana native. During the summer
semesters Louise taught painting and drawing to children and adults at the
Continuing Education Department of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette,
the Senior Art Studio of the city of Lafayette, and private lessons at her home
studio in St. Martinville. Painting and drawing has been a lifelong pursuit of
hers.
| | Vault: August 14 - September 25, 2010 | Kelly Guidry August 14 - September 25, 2010 Kelly Guidry's work is a combination of both subtractive and constructive sculpture. He uses the chainsaw and other power tools to cut and burn wood, and welding equipment to bend and weld metal. His use of the tools is sometimes unorthodox and techniques are constantly in a state of reinvention.
